The HTML5 sup Tag
The HTML5 tag has to be used by the author if it is necessary to add superscript texts within the document. The superscript texts will be placed half a character above the baseline when HTML5 tag is utilized.
The HTML5 tag is used the same way as how it has always been utilized in HTML4.01. The good thing about HTML5 tag is that it would not complicate the task of the author because it is applicable for all major web browsers like Google Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera. It is also supportive of the Global Attributes and event Attributes in HTML5.
